Shekinah has been coming to the farm since she was six years old. As a regular volunteer, she helps with mucking out and caring for animals. Working at the farm has fed her dreams of going to uni to become a vet. Listen as she talks about how important the Farm is to her.

Georgia Parker

Edie Young

ediepicListen to 13 year old Edie, a life-long resident of Gospel Oak and youth volunteer at KTCF.  She talks about what she’s learned in the five years she’s been coming to the farm which includes caring for animals, riding horses, being with kids who have disabilities and “getting used to the smell”. She also shares her impressions of Queens Crescent market, concerns about the austerity economy and musings on the births & deaths she has witnessed at the Farm.
